David Post, Ph.D.David Post Ph.D.

Dr. Post was educated at the University of Chicago, the New School for Social Research and Brandeis University from which he received his Ph.D. in Psychology.  He did his clinical internship at St. Luke’s Hospital Center in New York City (now St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital.)

He has taught at Brandeis University and Boston College and for several years was   a peer-review consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.  He is a Past President of the Massachusetts Society of Clinical Psychologists.

His specialties include individual and couples therapy, alcoholism and addictions and problems of creativity.  He has over 30 years of clinical experience.

He has several professional publications to his credit and first novel, the psychological thriller Nothing to See Here was published in 2007.

“Although trained in traditional psychodynamic therapy, my approach is completely tailored to the client and his or her presenting issues.  My goal is to utilize all the client’s resources to bring about long lasting, sought after change.”
