Patricia Wilde, LICSW

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker.  I have 20 years of experience working as both a traditional therapist and as an expressive art therapist with adults and children. I received my masters degree from Simmons and have had additional training in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused treatment and dialectic therapy.  I have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, manager of medical social work department, in-patient psychiatric settings, home based counseling, and as a hospital based psychiatric consultant.

My expertise is in working with children and adults using cognitive behavioral therapy.  My approach is eclectic, creative and sometimes even fun.  I aim to help clients find solutions too many of life’s challenges and problems.  I utilize a holistic approach often incorporating practical coping techniques such as proper diet, exercise, and good sleep practices.  I often teach clients mindfulness, body mind centering, relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to help with stress and anxiety.  I am enthusiastic, empathetic and also have a good sense of humor. I give my clients the tools they need to find balance and happiness

I specialize in ADHD, depression, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, and divorce. I use Mind body centering and relaxation to assist in the healing process. I help my clients cope with their problems and get on track to living a happier life.
